OUR STORY
THE WAVES GROUP
Our story began in Wilderness, where Waves Boutique started at our family-owned fuel station.
Whilst filling up on fuel, customers could shop gifts, clothing, shoes, and light meals – including our now-famous Pot Pies.
Corlia (owner of the now Waves Boutique) was inspired by her Aunt Martie (her Father's sister), who owns a boutique, to expand to a store of her own, offering her own ensemble of unique fashion and accessory items.
Corlia has treasured memories of shopping for her Matric farewell dress in her Aunt Martie's boutique, and those early moments of fashion inspiration became a dream later fulfilled.
Because Aunt Martie had been a second mother to her all her life and owns a boutique of her own, Corlia listened to her advice, and when an opportunity arose to be part of a new development in George, Corlia knew it was the perfect time to expand the clothing and shoe side of the business. And so, in November 2023, Waves Boutique officially opened its doors.

OUR OFFERING

Our owner, Corlia van Heerden, has a background in the food industry and was inspired to create the much-loved Pot Pie, a signature product that has become a customer favourite.
